Double Your Dollars For The Best Value in Jacksonville
Promotion Offers Meeting Professionals Added Booking Incentive for 2010 and 2011

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Jan. 4, 2010) - Visit Jacksonville announced today that meeting professionals now have an additional incentive to book events in Jacksonville during the 2010 and 2011 value seasons.  The new promotion, Double Your Dollars, awards meeting professionals a rebate of $10 per room night with a signed contract for a minimum of 100 room nights.

Part of Visit Jacksonville's Cash for Contracts meeting professional incentive program, which launched in September 2009, Double Your Dollars awards the rebates for groups contracted between Jan. 1 and Mar. 31, 2010, for meetings planned in July to December 2010 or 2011.

"Along with the room night rebate, booking an event during Jacksonville's value season offers a number of additional benefits, including lower room rates and incentives on elements such as meeting space, food and beverage and audio/visual rentals," said John Reyes, president and CEO of Visit Jacksonville.  "By taking advantage of the Double Your Dollars promotion, meeting professionals are in a position to save money across the board in a great Florida destination."

Visit Jacksonville's original Cash for Contracts program will continue to offer a $5 rebate per room night, with a minimum of 100 room nights.  There are no restrictions on when an event must be scheduled to receive this incentive, but the contract for the event must be signed by Sept. 1, 2010, or until the allotted funds are depleted.
