Overview

The Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville, formerly JMOMA, is located in Downtown Jacksonville, Florida and is one of the largest contemporary & modern art museums in the Southeast. The permanent collection consists of more than 750 works in a wide range of media, representing prominent national and international artists of the 20th and 21st centuries. The ArtExplorium Loft family learning center and adjoining classrooms offer exciting educational programming for a wide audience. MOCA's film series and lectures are offered in the 125-seat theater. Café Nola is open for lunch daily (M-F) and the Museum Shop carries jewelry, pottery, glass and much more from local, national and international artists.
