Jacksonville welcomes basketball fans as the 2010 NCAA Tournament gears up for the First and Second Rounds March 19 and 21. While the games will be the hottest ticket in town, there is plenty for fans to do and see before, during and after the tournament reaches the Sweet 16.

First Round Competition Sessions #1 and #2 kick off on Friday, March 19 at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena.

Attend the Fan Fest throughout the day and enjoy good eats and refreshing drinks while relaxing in the TV viewing area, perfect for catching up on all of the tournament games. Fan Fest is located at the South East corner of A. Philip Randolph Blvd and Duval Street.

Before the big games, head over to the Jacksonville Landing on March 17 for Northeast Florida's biggest St. Patrick's Day Celebration! Irish dancers, bigpipes, Irish bands all day long, drink specials all night long plus your chance to win the Pot o' Gold.

Or, for fans looking to get involved in a tournament of their own, the American Cornhole Organization will host Cornhole Madness at The Jacksonville Landing on Friday and Saturday, March 19 and 20.  Register in advance, sign up at the event or just come out to The Landing to watch all of the cornhole excitement. Check-in starts at 3 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. on Saturday.

Head out to Jacksonville Beach's Sea Walk Pavilion to enjoy great seafood and live music at the annual Great Atlantic Seafood and Music Festival on Saturday, March 20. Wash down some fried, boiled, grilled and blackened seafood with an ice cold beer and enjoy the festivities.

Or if you would like to witness a little more friendly competition, join Dolphins and Ospreys alike at the Baseball Grounds Downtown Stadium for the Jacksonville University vs. University of North Florida baseball game.
