All Partners are encouraged to attend Visit Jacksonville for Breakfast & Special Events. Visit Jacksonville is there to answer any questions or get suggestions from you, our Partners. There is networking time at the start of these events. Networking: 8:30 a.m. Program: 9-10 a.m. at Partner businesses, unless noted differently in the invitation.  Free event, unless noted.  Topic descriptions on the following page.

National Travel & Tourism Week

National Travel & Tourism Week, America's annual salute to travel and tourism, kicks off next week, May 1-7...and Visit Jacksonville wants to celebrate with YOU! We are marking the occasion in a number of creative ways and we hope you & your team will be able to join us!

Monday May 2

National Travel & Tourism Week Kick Off Press Conference
9:30AM, City Hall Atrium (117 W. Duval St, Jacksonville, FL 32202)

Join us for the National Travel & Tourism Week press conference to kick off the week! The press conference will include remarks from Mayor Lenny Curry, City Council President Greg Anderson, and Visit Jacksonville CEO Paul Astleford.

Following the press conference will be a one on one “Coffee & Conversation” event with the Visit Jacksonville team at 10:00AM at Charlie’s Café in Hemming Park.

Bon Voyage Visitor Send-Off at the Cruise Terminal

Carnival’s new ship The Elation, will be departing for a cruise on Monday and Visit Jacksonville will be there to properly send-off the group with free postcards, buttons, and tons of information about Jacksonville so they can extend their stay when they get back or book another trip!

Tuesday May 3

Rally in Red

Be sure to wear your RED on Tuesday May 3 as we celebrate US Travel Rally Day, which demonstrates travel's positive impact on local workers, businesses and economies—and, of course, on the personal lives of travelers.

Look out for the Visit Jacksonville team around town as we thank those in the hospitality and tourism industry showing support on this special day!

Unable to wear RED? Visit Jacksonville will have support buttons that can be added to uniforms to show support for all of National Travel & Tourism Week. Contact Caitlin Mauney if you would like these buttons for your team members and staff.

Wednesday May 4

First Wednesday Art Walk, 5:00PM-9:00PM in Downtown Jacksonville
Visit Jacksonville's Office (208 N. Laura St. Ste 102, Jacksonville, FL 32202)

Join Visit Jacksonville at First Wednesday Art Walk as we celebrate Jacksonville as a unique destination with 10,000 of our closest friends at this signature Downtown event. Jump for joy on a bungee trampoline, be an artist and contribute to our community mural, and come inside to meet with our “Jaxperts” in the visitor center to share what you love about Jacksonville for a chance to win an “#onlyinjax” gift basket! 

Thursday May 5

Thank you Thursday!

Visit Jacksonville will be thanking visitors throughout the city for choosing our destination by giving out free postcards, buttons, and other fun giveaways on “Thank you Thursday”.

Friday May 6

Pay it Forward Friday

This day is about serving the community and keeping Jacksonville beautiful! Our team will be participating in community service activities in various areas of Jacksonville, and we invite your team to join. If you are unable to participate, don’t worry! We will have a list of upcoming community service opportunities for you and your team to participate in at a later date.
