Weather in Jacksonville

If we had only one word to describe the weather in Jacksonville, it would be "perfection!"

Jacksonville’s gorgeous climate means you can enjoy outdoor activities all year round.  With an average of 221 sunny days per year, Jacksonville truly lives up to Florida’s nickname of “The Sunshine State.”

The average annual temperate is 70 degrees, the average annual high is 78 degrees, and the average annual low is 62.  Jacksonville receives about 52 inches of rain per year, mostly during the rainy summer season.From November through April, the weather is dry, sunny, and…well, basically perfect!  Below is an overview of seasonal weather in Jacksonville:

Winter Weather in Jacksonville

Our winters are gorgeous, sunny, and mild. In winter months, high temperatures are in the mid 60s and the average lows dip down to the mid 40s.  It rarely snows or dips below freezing in Jacksonville.

Spring Weather in Jacksonville

Spring in Jacksonville is beautiful, with highs in the mid to high 70s for March and April, with highs climbing into the 80s come May. Spring lows hover in the mid 60s and 70s.

In the summer, the average high temperature climbs into the low 90s and lows are in the mid 70s. Many locals hit the beach or spend time out on one of Jax’s many rivers or lakes during the summer months.

In the fall, Jacksonville enjoys highs in the 80s through October and lows in the 70s and 60s. Come November, the highs average about 74 with lows in the 50s.
