I have a nomadic personality that flows wherever the winds take me. I landed in Jacksonville almost 5 years ago and have embraced everything the city has to offer. I’ve had the opportunity to meet amazing people, see art and music that has blown my mind and the food? Forget about it. It took awhile to unearth some of the tasty talents birthed in this city, but it has been well worth it.
Jacksonville is more than I expected and I look forward to being apart of its continued evolution.
I’m also a bit of a history geek, so the vibe here definitely resonates with me. When friends say they are visiting and ask me what to do, I’m often speechless. There are too many options to choose. It depends on their personality and desires…obviously. Having the option of various beaches, various water adventures, various hiking adventures to being able to visit neighborhoods older than many of our grandparents…it’s a bit overwhelming. So I tell them, just show up (dress lightly because the humidity can drain) and be open to new experiences.
I can’t pick a favorite spot because most everywhere I go, the food experience has been great. Like having multiple children, I could never pick a favorite.
