Museum of Science and History (MOSH) - Dinosaur Explorer

Dinosaur Explorer is an all-new traveling exhibition that explores the wildest, wackiest, and most wonderous dinosaurs, and examines human physiology through the lens of the magnificent creatures. The Museum of Science and History in the San Marco area is the very first stop for this travelling exhibit.

Through a series of dynamic displays that feature advanced animatronic dinosaurs, authentic casts, actual fossils, and highly interactive hands-on activities, visitors will learn the science behind dinosaur adaptations and understand the connections humans share with our prehistoric predecessors. As they move through a series of vibrant vignettes, visitors will discover what modern paleontology knows about the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods—as well as what remains uncertain.

Jurassic Quest

Continue the journey to learn about these ancient creatures at Jurassic Quest, the largest & most realistic traveling dinosaur show in North America. This year’s event features more rides, activities, & dinosaurs than ever before. Jurassic Quest will be at the Prime F. Osborn Convention Center July 15-17.

The event will feature an incredible 50 ft. long Megalodon, 60 ft. long, sky-scraping Spinosaurus, the 80 ft. long Apatosaurus and a gigantic life-size T-Rex as well as dinosaur rides, a giant fossil dig and a soft play area.

Please note that socks are required to play on the inflatables. Strollers are welcome. Jurassic Quest is a self-guided experience. The average length of stay to enjoy all Jurassic Quest has to offer is 1 to 2 hours.

Movie Night - Jurassic World: Dominion

The San Marco Theatre is an art deco movie house that offers first-run Hollywood films plus eats, beer & wine. It was built in 1938 and recently restored.

Sun-Ray Cinema a historic two-screen movie theater located in Riverside's Five Points neighborhood and offers a balanced mix of first-run and repertory films. Serving beer, wine, and food delivered seat-side and raising the bar for filmgoing in Jacksonville.
