Week of Valor Honoring Jacksonville's Military Community

The Week of Valor, held from Nov. 3 to Nov. 14, is a series of events hosted throughout the city that honors the service and sacrifice of Jacksonville's military community.

Our veteran and military community has contributed significantly to making Jacksonville the vibrant city it is. We are just as grateful for their service to the country as we are for their service to the local community, and value every opportunity to demonstrate our respect and appreciation." - Mayor Lenny Curry

From the Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville Air Show, featuring the Blue Angels, to the Veterans 5K to the Jaguars Military Appreciation Game, Jacksonville is hosting a variety of events honoring our veteran and military community between Nov. 4-13 during the 2017 Week of Valor.

The Week of Valor is an annual observance led by Jacksonville's Military Affairs and Veterans Department to recognize the military community and their families.
