The Lost World of Dragons at MOSH

An exciting new exhibit for kids and kids at heart

Looking for an exciting indoor activity in Jacksonville this summer? Let your imagination run wild as you explore the tales of ancient, mythical creatures at the new summer exhibit, The Lost World of Dragons, at The Museum of Science & History (MOSH).

Life-Size Animatronic Dragons

Open now through September 6, the exhibit includes life-size animatronic dragons from cultures around the world, including Hydra from Greek mythology and Lung from Chinese mythology. Don’t be startled when standing next to one – they feature realistic movement and sound.

Interactive Dragon-Themed Exhibits

Numerous interactive displays allow guests to venture through history, exploring the cultures and stories of the legendary beasts. Everyone is encouraged to channel their inner archaeologist! You'll find:

  • a virtual reality flight experience
  • magnetic puzzle
  • trivia game
  • a dragon challenge
  • even a fossil dig

When planning your dragon expedition, don’t forget your mask. MOSH requires people older than the age of six to wear one while on-site.
