A Slice of Duval

A Slice of Duval is Jacksonville’s sweetest new tradition—a community cake-share event where every guest brings a cake to share! Taking place at the historic Karpeles Grand, this year’s theme is Bridgerton meets Marie Antoinette—a pastel, decadent affair where costumes are encouraged but not required. Guests are called by colored wristbands to dash through long banquet tables during the five-minute “Slice Sprint,” collecting as many slices as they can. Afterward, everyone gathers picnic-style on the Cake Lawn to enjoy their treats, music, and local food vendors. It’s a joyful afternoon of cake, community, and creativity—because in Jacksonville, everyone gets a slice.
