Bop and Beyond

Featuring the chamber jazz ensembles and jazz faculty, this concert will explore the quintessential language of modern jazz. Tracing bebop from its inception with Bird and Diz, the groups will perform works and arrangements that evoke its unique expression, tie to American culture, and connect its influence on jazz today.
