Kathryn Abby Hanna Park

500 Wonderwood Dr
Jacksonville 32233

Jacksonville’s best kept secret is Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park, a 450 acre city-owned park with 300 campsites, located 17 miles east of downtown Jacksonville on the Atlantic Ocean.  The perfect place to spend the weekend outdoors, Hanna Park has almost 2 miles of undeveloped beach, 20 miles of outstanding mountain bike and nature trails, a 60 acre fresh water lake that is perfect for kayaking and fishing, and a kids splash park (open Memorial Day to Labor Day) and playground.

Hanna Park’s campground is heavily wooded, which provides great shade and privacy between campsites.  Every campsite has electricity, water, sewer hookups for RVs, and a picnic table and fire pit.  At Hanna Park you can camp with a tent or RV and you can also rent a cabin.  Modern restrooms with flush toilets and hot showers are open to campers.

Firewood, ice, drinks, snacks, and souvenirs can be purchased at the park’s campground store.  Mountain bikes, beach cruisers, kayaks, and canoes are also available for rent in the camp store.  So, pack up the camping gear or RV and come spend the weekend at Hanna Park.
