Jax Illuminations Annual Holiday Light Show, November 20–January 4: Jax Illuminations has created a wonderful opportunity for families to create a new holiday tradition. Enjoy the magic of driving through a mile of holiday lights that are perfectly synchronized to holiday music. Come see a MILLION brilliant LED lights that dance, twinkle and sparkle to some of your favorite holiday songs.
Deck the Chairs, November 23–January 1: More than 20 American Red Cross lifeguard chairs will be decorated in coastal-themed designs and lights in Downtown Jacksonville Beach. Kickoff is the day after Thanksgiving and includes chair decorating, music, hot cocoa, judging and a lighting ceremony. This year the displays will be bigger than ever and include a conservation component to them.
Pete's Bar Thanksgiving Day Celebration, November 28: Pete’s Bar Thanksgiving Day Celebration has been a Jacksonville holiday tradition for more than 30 years! Pete’s celebration brings thousands of residents and visitors to the quaint Neptune Beach neighborhood for food, drinks, live music and fun.
Jacksonville Light Boat Parade, November 30: The Jacksonville Light Boat Parade has been a holiday tradition for more than 30 years. Vessels of all shapes and sizes adorn their hulls with festive decorations as they float along the north and south banks of the St. Johns River.
