You Don't Have to be a Jaguars Fan to Get Excited About Game Day in Jacksonville!
Here's the first thing you need to know about Jaguars game day experience in Jacksonville: Everyone gets in on the fun. You don't need to be a fan—though you absolutely should consider it—to join the festivities; you don't even need tickets to the game at TIAA Bank Field to have the time of your life (though it does help!). No matter how you choose to take part, you'll enjoy one of the most extensive—and often, most unique—celebrations in the NFL. (Don't worry, we'll never tell the folks at home what a good time you had.)
The fun starts long before the game does, kicking off hours ahead of time with one of the most diverse and inclusive tailgating scenes around. You could post up at the stadium-adjacent Jacksonville Fairgrounds, with its affordable parking or go to the Tailgaters Parking Lot with its reasonably priced concessions. There’s also the GTE Tailgate, with tickets to each tailgate including access to a full Open Bar and all the food you can eat, live music, tented seating, TVs to watch pre-game coverage, traditional tailgating games (cornhole, ladder toss, etc.), and a live auction of sports and entertainment items. You could also join the official celebration with one of the NFL's most popular booster clubs, the Bold City Brigade (you don't need to be a member, but they'd love you to become one) meets right near the stadium at the intersection of Duval and Bryan Street.
Looking for a truly locals-only twist on the traditional tailgate? Head Downtown for a range of game day specials at The Elbow Entertainment District. And be sure to drink local while at the game at Intuition Ale Works and Manifest Distilling, both located inside the Sports Complex just feet from the stadium. The Bud Light (FRI)end Zone and the Bud Light Party Zone both offer unique game views and delicious cocktails and food. The all new Camp Grunt Style is located in the north end zone and opens two hours prior to kickoff for all fans. This interactive deck will host in-game military recognition and feature interactive games to win Grunt Style apparel. There truly is something for everyone, at every price point.
Then, of course, there's the game itself—already known as one of the league's most fun places to play, there's a long list of unusual ways to take in the action, starting with world-famous swimming pools, up above the North End Zone. They're clearly some of the best seats in the house, and as such are highly sought after—ditto the poolside cabanas. Also, way up there above the North End Zone—below the world's largest video score boards, fun fact—is FanDuelVille, home to one of the most incredible parties you'll ever see at a professional sporting event. The concept was dreamed up with partner FanDuel, the wildly popular fantasy football site—the space, open to all game ticket holders, holds over 3,000 people and features a range of unique food and beverage programming, including special cocktails. Whether you want to watch the game on the big screen, have a drink, or even just dance—there's a DJ, and sometimes even live music—this is the place to be, and not just until the game ends, either. That's when the team's Fifth Quarter party kicks off, with more music, more fun, and even appearances from team personalities, including mascot Jaxson de Ville.
Be sure to learn the team’s war cry “DUUUVAL” and wear your teal, you are in Jags territory now! (NOTE: All other teams are still welcomed; they just might not be cheered for!).
