Trolley
The Jacksonville Transit Authority (JTA) operates two trolley lines: The Riverside Trolley, which links Riverside and downtown and the Beach Trolley, which provides access throughout the beach neighborhoods. Please visit JTA for schedules as the Trolley only operates during specific times of the week and year. For more information or call (904) 630-3100.

Pedestrian Friendly
Downtown Jacksonville’s compact core is safe and easy to walk from place-to-place. The city also offers a variety of riverfront jogging/walking paths for those living an active lifestyle. Take a mid-day stroll on the downtown Riverwalk alongside the St. Johns River, or challenge yourself to a morning run over the downtown bridges.

Bike
Rent a bike from a local bike shop or downtown at the Hyatt Regency and leisurely pedal the tree-lined sidewalks of Jacksonville’s historic neighborhoods, minutes from downtown. The wide, white sandy beaches also offer a great way to relax on a bike. Biking is a preferred method of transportation at the beaches too. You will often find full bike racks outside the beaches most popular watering holes. For a more vigorous biking adventure, hit the mountain biking trails at Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park or the Jacksonville-Baldwin Rail-Trail.
