The Jacksonville Giants belong to the ABA (American Basketball Association). Starting as the Jacksonville Jackals, it wasn’t until the Jacksonville Jam in 2006 that the team began to gain momentum and evolved into the Jacksonville Giants in 2010.
The Jacksonville Giants are owned by local U.S. Navy Veteran and Attorney, Ron Sholes. Jerry Williams, Head Coach, is a former player of the Jacksonville Jam, his brother is a Jacksonville Jaguars fan-favorite player, Rashean Mathis.
