- Mayport shrimp is caught locally at the mouth of the St. Johns River, where it meets the Atlantic Ocean.
- The best (and biggest) Mayport shrimps can be found in November and December, but it is available fresh all year long.
- Mayport shrimp can be both white and brown, yet equally delicious.
- You can shop for Mayport shrimp in fish markets across the nation.
