Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens
Located across the river from Downtown Jacksonville, The Cummer Museum houses over 5,000 works spanning 8,000 years including significant European and American paintings and a renowned Meissen porcelain collection. Visitors can also tour the beautiful formal gardens overlooking the St. Johns River.
The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) Jacksonville
With more than 1,000 pieces in its permanent collection, MOCA Jacksonville encompasses one of the largest collections of modern and contemporary art in the Southeast. View paintings, installations, prints, sculpture, and photography by some of the biggest names in the visual arts.
Museum of Science & History (MOSH)
Located on Jacksonville’s beautiful Southbank, the Museum of Science & History brings thousands of years of Northeast Florida’s cultural and ecological history to life. Featuring interactive exhibits and the Bryan-Gooding Planetarium, the largest single-lens planetarium in the world!

Art Galleries in Jacksonville
When you walk between Market and Julia streets in downtown Jacksonville, you’ll find dozens of galleries representing emerging and established artists. If you are in Jax on the first Wednesday of the month, then don’t miss Art Walk. This free self-guided gallery tour through downtown Jacksonville features pop-up galleries, arts marketplaces, food trucks, and live music.
Cork Arts District
This cutting-edge, 80,000 square foot warehouse space provides a setting for local artists and galleries and hosts regular events. Future plans for the space include adding more studios and galleries and introducing a live music venue and space for performance art. Visit the Cork Arts District by appointment only or during one of the regularly schedule events.
Art in Public Spaces
Visit Sculpture Walk Jax in Main Street Park, visitors are able to learn about the sculptures and their artists by scanning Quick Response (QR) codes on the base of each of the 13 large-scale sculptures in Main Street Park. By scanning the codes you will have access to videos that feature the artists talking about their creative process.
