Spend the day at these two beautiful parks in Riverside all within walking distance of each other.
Start the day at Riverside park located in the heart of Riverside. When you arrive, you can find parking spots in the Five Points area as well as parallel street parking all around park. Start the morning by grabbing a cup of coffee at Brew Five Points before heading over to Riverside Park. When you arrive at Riverside Park, take a stroll along the paved walking path around the spring-fed lake. Dozens of ducks and birds make this pond their home, be sure to check them out. Afterwards, you can find a picnic table, sit and enjoy the rest of your coffee.
You can bring your dog too! There is a fenced dog park within Riverside Park, as well as a many old oaks to sit under for some shade.
When you are ready to explore the area some more, leave Riverside Park and walk over to the Five Points district right across. Looking for a unique gift? Stop into Wolfgang and Edge City to cruise the racks for the latest styles.

After a delicious lunch, make your way over to Memorial Park. This Riverfront park has 6 acres of green space which makes it a perfect spot for everyone and any activity. This is a local hotspot for yoga and frisbee. Explore the park with the walking tour. Don’t leave without taking a photo at a picture-perfect spot in front of the bronze sculpture, Spiritualized Life.
Insider Tip: Bring a blanket to sit on the lawn and enjoy the river view.
When you are ready to leave and head back to your car, don’t leave without seeing the Riverside area from above. Grab a drink at one of the many rooftop bars. River & Post, Black Sheep and Hoptinger are all in the riverside area and within walking distance from the park.
