The Seawalk Pavilion is the crown jewel of the beaches festival scene, centrally located in Jax Beach. The beach bars, shops and eateries that surround the Seawalk Pavilion offer visitors countless hours of beachside fun. In Atlantic Beach, you can find the unique Beaches Town Center. These shops, bars and restaurants are as quaint as beach towns get, and this is where the beach locals unwind or get the party started. The walkable square also has ice cream to cool you off, beers in a historic bar and plenty #onlyinjax memories.
1. 26.2 with Donna: National Marathon to Finish Breast Cancer
When we say that this marathon is #onlyinjax, we mean it. The Donna Marathon runs throughout the entire Beaches communities and features an ocean breeze with each step of the race. This is the only marathon in the nation to donate all its proceeds to Breast Cancer research. The Beaches go pink for this amazing race!
2. Springing The Blues
Blues are a foundational part of the musical heritage of Jacksonville. With its unique history and local tie-in, Springing The Blues is one of the most highly anticipated music events in the state. The free festival features performances by blues legends and emerging artists who fuse blues with other influences, including rock, funk, soul, swing, boogie, roots, hip-hop and gospel.
3. Community First Seawalk Music Festival
This beachside music fest is a celebration of everything that makes up local Jax culture, and visitors are more than welcome to join in on the fun. With local artists, food and everything right down to the crew – this free event is a great way to experience all the best of Jacksonville in one spot! Enjoy some easy listening while you shop, dine and laugh.
4. North Beaches Art Walk
Highlighting local artists, unique art and a diverse community will make any family feel like they’re at home. The North Beaches Art Walk has been a monthly staple of Atlantic Beach, with live performances and a #onlyinjax neighborhood vibe, this market is a must-see at our beaches. Stop by the Beaches Town Center on the third Thursday of the month for this art walk.
