As a young boy, he was introduced to saltwater fishing on the shallow grass flats of the Gulf, targeting sea trout and redfish. Around age 10, he moved to the First Coast, where he became an avid surfer and continued his passion for saltwater fishing on the inshore waters of the Jacksonville Beach area. He has been fishing the creeks and flats off the St. Johns River for over 20 years and has taken his passion, guiding his clients to the same shallow waters that hooked him.
