Oceanfront Park

Located on 1st Street South between 5th and 6th Avenues South, Oceanfront Park offers a scenic and family-friendly green space just steps from the Atlantic Ocean. Spanning two acres, this beautifully landscaped park blends coastal charm with thoughtful amenities for all ages.

Two dune walkovers and a handicapped-accessible ramp providing easy beach access

At the heart of the park stands Sea Express, a striking bronze sculpture of a young boy riding a dolphin. Created by artist Kristen Visbal, the statue symbolizes the city's commitment to preserving ocean access for future generations.

Oceanfront Park is also home to the World War II Memorial, honoring 22 Jacksonville Beach residents who gave their lives in service during the war. Together, these features make Oceanfront Park a meaningful and welcoming destination for both reflection and recreation.
