Warrington Park
Warrington Park is located adjacent to the Woodland Acres Elementary School in East Jacksonville. In 1955, Walter C. and Bernice I. Warrington donated most of the park property to Duval County. Walter Warrington was a former City Councilman who served as chairman of the parks and boulevard committee in 1915. The park has picnic shelters, tables, grills, a swimming pool, a baseball field, a basketball court, and tennis/pickleball courts.
