The Alhambra Theatre and Dining Presents Christmas Carole, November 17 - December 24
Based on the book written by the incomparable Charles Dickens, this Alhambra Theatre classic follows the story of Ebenezer Scrooge and his extraordinary journey. This musical is sure to delight people of all ages.
Dazzling Nights, November 19 - January 9
Jacksonville Arboretum & Botanical Gardens will transform into a magical wonderland this holiday season featuring a million dazzling lights, shining forests, magical displays and beautiful sculptures during “Dazzling Nights™”, a family friendly adventure that gives guests the opportunity to embark on a three-quarter-mile interactive holiday experience. Tickets must be purchased for a specific time and date. $22 per person weekdays, $25 per person weekends.
Deck the Chairs, November 20 - January 1
More than forty American Red Cross life guard chairs will be decorated in coastal-themed designs and lights for Deck the Chairs in Jacksonville Beach. Kickoff is Saturday, November 20 with chair decorating, music, hot cocoa, judging and lighting ceremonies.
Music on Main: Tree Lighting and DANKA, November 26
Join the fun as Springfield welcomes, DANKA, back to Music on Main for the Tree Lighting Ceremony and the Holiday Kick-off Celebration for the neighborhood.
Bring a blanket or chair and enjoy some of our favorite local food vendors! Food and drink purchases start at 5:30pm and band will start at 6:00pm.
"Music on Main" is a free and, public music series in Sesquicentennial Park.
Jacksonville Light Boat Parade, November 27
The Jacksonville Light Boat Parade has been a holiday tradition for more than 30 years. Vessels of all shapes and sizes adorn their hulls with festive decorations as they float along the north and south banks of the St. Johns River. Residents and visitors alike gather along the north and south riverbanks in downtown Jacksonville to witness this magical event.
This year the Light Boat Parade will feature 904 Pop Up. The 904 Pop Up will be curating Jacksonville's largest Small Business Saturday event featuring over 200 local creatives, makers, artists and more.

A holiday mash-up for the whole family, The Hip Hop Nutcracker is back and better than ever at The Florida Theatre. Directed and choreographed by Jennifer Weber, The Hip Hop Nutcracker is a contemporary dance spectacle set to Tchaikovsky’s timeless music. A unique and joyful event, this evening-length production is performed by a supercharged cast of a dozen all-star dancers, a DJ, a violinist, and MC Kurtis Blow, one of hip hop’s founding fathers.

TSO has taken their debut show, "Christmas Eve and Other Stories," and they've given it a technological overhaul to make it every bit as revolutionary, exciting, and fun as it was when it debuted in 1996.
Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical, December 21
The beloved TV classic Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer soars off-screen and onto the stage.
Come see all of your favorite characters from the special including Santa and Mrs. Claus, Hermey the Elf, Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster, Clarice, Yukon Cornelius and, of course, Rudolph, as they come to life at the Florida Theatre.
TaxSlayer Gator Bowl, December 31

New Year’s Eve Celebration, December 31
The City of Jacksonville invites you to say goodbye to 2021 and welcome in the New Year at the annual New Year's Eve Fireworks. The waterfront and skyline will serve as a backdrop for this amazing display over the St. Johns River. Fireworks will begin at exactly midnight.
Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens ZOO Lights, Dates to be announced
Thousands of lights will transform Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens into a luminous experience this holiday season. The paths through gardens and exhibits will be accented by moving sculptures, lighted trees, and animal silhouettes.
