The award recognizes those who embody exceptional hospitality and proudly share Jacksonville’s story with residents and visitors alike.
Nominees can include:
• Employees of a business who continuously make a positive impact on visitor experiences.
• Individuals who demonstrate leadership, professionalism and are actively engaged in the tourism & hospitality industry.
• Individuals or businesses that show a dedication to a visitor first philosophy of customer service.
• Individuals or businesses that have helped elevate the perception of Jacksonville or the visitor experience over a sustained period of time.
• Festival and event planners who have worked tirelessly to bring new events to Jacksonville and grow existing ones.
Nominations will be accepted until 5 p.m. Friday, September 4. You may submit multiple nominations, and self-nominations are accepted. All nominations received by the nomination deadline will be reviewed and evaluated by a Visit Jacksonville selection committee.
The Tourism Ambassador of the Year recipient will be recognized by Visit Jacksonville in newsletters, social media posts and in-person at a Visit Jacksonville Tourism Industry Community Meeting.
