In addition to athletic fields and a playground, Beverly Hills Park includes a perimeter walkway provides the opportunity for walking or jogging. The Lewis- Cobb Community Center building is also located on the park grounds.
Beverly Hills Park is located in the Sherwood Forest section of northwest Jacksonville. The developers of the Sherwood Forest and Osceola Forest neighborhoods donated the land for the park to Duval County in 1956. In the same year, the Sherwood Forest Elementary School was built adjacent to the park, and a pedestrian bridge connects the school playground with the park. The Beverly Hills neighborhood, platted in 1928-1929, lies just east of the park. The City has completed several improvement projects at the park over the years. In addition to softball fields, a basketball court, and playground equipment, a perimeter walkway provides the opportunity for walking or jogging. And the Sherwood Forest Community Center building is also located on the park grounds.
