Helen Parrott Residence
Designed by Marion Sims Wyeth, a New York architect, this house located at 3116 St Johns Avenue cost approximately $34,000 when built in 1923. The home’s owner was Helen Parrott, the widow of Joseph R. Parrott who was the president of Florida East Coast Railway. The home is a Mediterranean Revival style mansion with elaborate wrought-iron ornamentation. During 1958-1965, the mansion was home to the Unitarian Church.
