Lee Kirkland Cemetery
Established on land donated in 1932, Lee Kirkland Cemetery was Jacksonville Beach’s cemetery for Black’s during segregation. The site reflects a time when Black and white residents were buried in separate cemeteries, a practice that continued until the mid-1960s.
