Jacksonville hosts the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl on NYE, with thousands of college football fans descending upon our city and stadium. The game includes pep rallies, parades, tailgating parties, a 5K run and a very fun time.
And then immediately following the game, Cole Swindell take the stage. The night ends with fireworks to ring in the new year, Fireworks! Join hundreds of thousands in Downtown Jacksonville on New Year's Eve as the city lights up the night to welcome the New Year. Live music, food trucks, craft vendors, and family fun all take place next to the St. Johns River.
Hotels, attraction, restaurants and live music venues from the beaches all the way to Downtown host special parties and events to ring in the New Year, including The Jacksonville Landing, One Ocean Resort and Spa, The Lexington Hotel & Conference Center, The Jacksonville Symphony, The Museum of Contemporary Art, The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, MLG, the breweries of the Jax Ale Trail and the bard and nightlife hotspots of Jacksonville Beach.
There is so much to see and do to welcome the New Year with your favorite people and hundreds of new friends. And don’t forget the New Year’s Day Polar Plunge in Jacksonville Beach. Those brave enough to take a dip in the cold Atlantic Ocean meet every January 1 at the SeaWalk Pavilion.
