Congaree and Penn, October 2-31-Spend the day at the Farm this Fall. From visiting the pumpkin patch to taking a sunset cruise around the farm, there are daily events at Congaree and Penn. This is a perfect place to enjoy the beautiful fall weather. Please note: Congaree and Penn is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Jacksonville Zoo Spooktacular, October 11-13, 17-20, 25-27, 30-31 - Enjoy the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens during their most magical celebration with Halloween adventure for kids of all ages. You don’t want to miss one of Jacksonville’s most exciting Halloween events.

The Catty Shack Ranch Halloween Haunted Forest, October 11-27 - Stroll through as the forest comes alive with creeps and crawls. They’ll have crafts and games for the kids and even a costume contest with prizes. They’ve got a touch lab for the little ghosts and the Trail of Fears for the big ghosts..

Beaches Town Center Fall Festival & Costume Party, October 19- Join us for our annual Fall Festival & Costume Party on Saturday, October 19th from 10 - 12:30 p.m. on First Street between Lemon and Orange! Enjoy complimentary make-your-own crafts, games and refreshments and register for the costume contest to be eligible to win goodies donated from Beaches Town Center businesses! Plus circle around for trick-or-treating at all retailers. It’s going to be a great time, so don’t miss out!

Adventure Landing Hallo-WEE Party, October 26 - A not-so-scary celebration for the kids! Only $3 per child; there will be crafts, games, bounce houses, face painting, goodie bags, costume contest and much more!

Murray Hill-O-Ween, October 26 - A Halloween themed block party and parade on the streets of Murray Hill. There will be food trucks, vendors, costumed characters, floats and even prizes.

Trick-or-Treat on the Street Downtown, October 31 - Come celebrate with Downtown Jax from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wear your best costumes and get your fill of candy, coupons and other goodies from participating businesses.

Mall-O-Ween at the Avenues, October 31-Join us for free and safe trick-or-treating, giveaways, characters, a complimentary photo booth and much more. The first 250 children to check-in will receive a Halloween bag and candy map.

Mall-O-Ween at the St. Johns Town Center, October 31-Black cats, ghouls and witches brew, let’s see what the kids can do! Your favorite little ghosts and goblins are invited to St. Johns Town Center for a fun and safe night of trick-or-treating in the Park Green outside Maggiano’s Little Italy on Wednesday, October 31 from 6 – 8 p.m.

Not for the faint-of-heart:

Adventure Landing Haunt Nights, October 4, 5, 11, 12, 31 & November 1- Haunt nights feature four haunted attractions including Northeast Florida’s scariest 3D haunted house. The attractions feature a clown takeover, Pinehurst asylum, containment, and descent. Haunt nights are recommended to kids over the age of 12 and not for the faint of heart.
